How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

well that depend on the kind of trader you are, stop loss for a scalper is very small because they are aiming at very small but consistent profit while for a long time trade it can be 40 pips and above so it all depend on you and your profit aim

Many newbies ask me how many pips is safe for stop loss? I think its all depend on how much you afford to lose and we have to put stop loss by checking resistance and support levels, we should not put stop loss just by numbers.

I usually put a stop loss 35 pips of the normal price it is intended that the stop loss is not easily affected by the price continues to go up and down and so I get a profit not a loss
