How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

Many newbies ask me how many pips is safe for stop loss? I think its all depend on how much you afford to lose and we have to put stop loss by checking resistance and support levels, we should not put stop loss just by numbers.

Aapki baat bilkul sahi hai hum stoploss sirf number k basis se nahi laga saktey hain balki hume stoploss bahut calculate karke lagana chahiye kyun k forex trading me stoploss bhi place karna ek trading skills hai agar aap sahi jagah stoploss lagana nahi jaantey hain to ye aapko unexpected loss de sakta hain, Main apna stoploss support and resistance ki basis par lagata hoon.

well dear in fact I think this is depend on the market situation.on my opinion in normal situation 10 and fifteen pip are safe.the best thing is that when you are in profit then you close your trade and book your profit because every movement change the situation in forex business.

Mere kheyal me agar trend ke hisab se agar ham stop loss lagayen to hamain 50 se 60 pips ka stop loss lagana chahiye kyun ke trend me rehte huwe yeh point safe hai.

I find that there have no as limit for the stop loss. You can use it or not. If you use it you can set in different mode for traded. If you trade for a short time then you set stop loss little or not. If you trade for long time the you can set stop loss 10-50 pips for safety. Its depend on a traders !
