It is totally depend on the risk that you have to take while trading in the forex market and for that you must have to keep one thing in your mind that you have to use technical charts which will give you clue to place the stop loss at proper level.

How many pips is totally depends on movement of market and technical analysis. Forex trading har bar ek nahi hota hey. Always ap ko stoploss and take profit dono option ko use kar ke trading kar na hey. Stoploss Forex trading ka loss control kar ta hey.

If you trade candles you can put that stop below or above the signal candle or just above the first signal candle and If you trade breakouts test than just below the support or resistance tested and it completely vary from person to person as few completely rely on momentum and use static SL for every trade and this could be good for risk reward but it does really need some experience and months of backtesting to use static Stop Loss.
