How many pips do you think is safe for SL ?

Setting up of Stop loss depends on many factors.It depends on the trading strategy of the trader , how much money he is investing in the trade , the risk he is willing to take and the profit margin.So the amount varies from trade to trade.

In scalping it is around 3 - 5 pips and in position trading it can be around 100 pips.

Of course, my dear in forex trading, I naturally do consider that with 50 pips is safe but when that's set 50 pips stoploss, then I will set 80 pips of takeprofit and sometimes it is not fixed because depend on whether the analysis of each trader and, depending on the movement of the market

1,1 Ratio is best for safe trade but your question is how many so may be 30 up to 50 pips for sl is good,The trader is thought well he set sl is low but you take entry there after maximum time watch market,I recommend you need first read your chart and how do you success plan after take trade set sl 30 up to 50 pips because some time market take retrace and in this movement your sl not going hit.

A good plan will also tell you that how much stop loss should be .... but if you sat SL then must be sat at the level of 80 to 120 pips it is safe SL ... For setting a SL you have to think what entry method you used to open position.
