Yes this is true. Higher leverage level means higher risk level. If you are not in the Forex market analysis then i do not prefer to take a higher leverage level unless you have a huge amount of account balance in your account. That means there is a higher possibility of losing your trade if the market goes the down trend.

High leverage is the open gates for flow of funds out of our account. For instance, if you are using a lot size of 1.00 and the market goes against you by 1 pip, i will take some Big risks in order to save my account, or else i use normal leverage for my trading. to take more risk than his money management plan which leads to some loss.

So high leverage experience trader for very suitable, and high leverage new trader for risky in forex market. So success depend on a trader quality.

yes high leverage can lead you to high loss. it happened with me once. i lost all my money in only one day .its all because of high leverage.so we should always put low leverage.

Yes, but with high leverage we can open a trade with big lot, and when we trade with big lot, and when our analysis is wrong, then we will get more losses. but if we can make good analysis, our profit will be larger also
