of course it is important for trader that he/she understand the market long term and short terms and i think short term is profitable for new traders and i say that we completely understand the forex trading market and we understand the market right direction then we make decision in market that we work in short term or long term and both terms are profitable if trader having the good trading experience then he/she make good profit easily in forex market
