Sony is known for its exceptional design skills in its other products like the PlayStation, TVs, Speakers, etc. Its 2012-flagship phone, the Sony Xperia S, has received the same treatment. Coming at only 10.6 mm thick, Sony has still managed to produce a gorgeous piece of hardware with a minimalistic design. A 4.3 Inch 720 x 1280 LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen covers the front. The extremely dense pixel density of 342 ppi ensures that everything you see on the screen is shown in stunning detail and the colors are pretty natural-looking. For the record, even Apple’s latest iPhone 5 has a ppi of 326.

Being a flagship phone, Sony will make sure that you get the latest OS as soon as possible. For now, it comes with Android 4.0 ICS but will soon be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. You’d also find some minor customizations as well as a few Sony-specific apps.
