The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Plus screen measures 13.3 inches with an Aspect Ratio of 4: 3. Of course, so that the screen can be folded like a smartphone, this laptop uses a similar panel, namely OLED made by the LG manufacturer. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold screen will be on the inside of the body when the screen hinge in the middle of the body is bent. What's interesting is that when it is folded, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold's body size immediately shrinks and makes it look as big as a large screen Smartphone.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold uses a special "multi-link torque hinge mechanism" hinge which is claimed to be able to survive very well even though it is opened and closed intensively. The hinge has indeed gone through a very serious development process where Lenovo made six design changes to perfect it. Not only that, the hinge is made of a combination of lightweight metal and Carbon Fiber so that it is able to offer high durability but with a lighter weight. At the bottom of the screen is reinforced with a special layer that keeps the screen flat even though it is operated with the touch of a finger or a stylus.
For those who are not familiar with Virtual Keyboard, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold still includes a Physical Keyboard that can be placed on the screen so that it functions like a conventional laptop or can also be used separately. The physical keyboard that was included when purchasing the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold can be stored in the middle, flanked by the body for easier portability. This is the answer why Lenovo provides a gap / space in the middle when the screen is closed.
