well i also support the fact that In trading stop loss has some important effect, am expert trader alwasy use STop loss according to his investigation to save his account if any thing went incorrect, if he don't use SL then account balance will hold on decreasing till he close that trade.

Stop loss is very important for saving their equity because there is no one who knowing the next position of market. some times market is in very fast condition that handle to it very difficult so stop loss is best way to save equity.

i dont think stop loss really importance
it deppend on your strategy.. if you using averaging or martingale strategy i think stop loss really did not need for your trading position
but if you use singgle position with bigger lot for sure you need stop loss
and also for scalper that use big lot or volum on their trade, stop loss is a must
but like longterm trading i think they use no stop loss
so it all deppend on your strategy
