Yes, thats true. Stop loss will prevent you from huge loss. But,
If you follow money management, you can wait for the profit. If you put sl, you want to recover that loss. It also takes some time. so, better to wait for you turn.

Stop loss is there to limit the loss only and it will not guarantee you profits. It will help in proper money management but you will have to develop a very good system so that your order don't hit stop loss most of the time. If stop loss is being hit more, there is no benefit of using it

stop loss is good option to use but for me in long term I can manually close my trades. so maybe this is advantage of long term but in short term it is necessary to have stop loss. but I agree with you some times you have to stay in market but because of stop loss you get out so then it can be useless. but I use soem times and more often I do not use stop loss.

If you are confused by the issue a stop loss you may prefer not to use stop loss and use the cut loss or emphasis on money management with a low lot size

we are set the stop loss value for limit our loss..
our trading style is may be not accurate all time..some time may be many time our analyses failed due to any good news events..its not meaning that if our sl hit then we dont use.
we should use it after some hit stop loss may be trader analyses their weakness of analyses sl point. set stop loss in all trade show a good way of trading.
