Stop loss is very important when you open a trade. Sometime, market moves so fast. In this situation, only stop loss can save our capital. If you don't stay in front of your pc and when market moves opposite of your trade, stop loss is also important that time. So, a trader should set a stop loss in his trade.

I think it is mandatory and must be open when trading status to stay infront our computer. My experience says that sometime within a few second market moves up 100 points and SL only can save us from this condition.so we must avoid losses.

for me stoplose as part of a strategy it will be defend how you will use it . You can tighten stop lose during a good trend to protect profit. Most of the time we setup stop lose to prevent loses, either of this two is part of a strategy.

I think that no stop loss strategy will be only good with martingale strategies also this type of strategies need big balance and small lot. Any good strategy must having a stop loss and if you don't need it but to save your capital..

Forex is risky but many profitable.Yes sometimes any unpredictable happend at anytime, few month back earthquake came in japan and i was having long position in that and i have used stop loss with 100 pips and i was sleeping and when i wake up i saw the price decrease to around 600 pips and i was shock and i thanks god that i used stop loss or i have got margin call at that time.Be carefully to stop loss...
