EUR/USD – USD/CAD
EURUSD selling opportunity at 1.1830/40 working perfectly on Monday & Tuesday with a dip to 1.1770 yesterday & another selling opportunity at 1.1830/40 over night.

USDCAD trades sideways all this week but holds last week's low at 1.3130 in severely oversold conditions.



Daily Analysis
EURUSD shorts at our selling opportunity at 1.1830/40 stop above 1.1860. A break higher targets 1.1880/85 & probably as far as 1.1920.

Shorts at 1.1830/40 target 1.1810/00 Then a retest of 1.1755/50. On a break lower look for 1.1730/20, perhaps as far as strong support at 1.1660/500.

USDCAD outlook is positive as long as we hold above 1.3130. Holding above 1.3180 is more positive for today targeting 1.3240/50 . We should struggle here (& in fact we topped exactly this week) but further gains target 1.3270/80 & 1.3320/30. A selling opportunity at 1.3360/70, with stops above 1.3390.

Obviously we need stops about 10 pips below the double bottom buy signal low at 1.3130 on our longs. A break lower is a medium term sell signal despite oversold conditions, initially targeting 1.3100/90 & 1.3060/50.

After spending the first half of the day moving sideways near 1.1800, the EUR/USD pair came under bearish pressure in the early American session and dropped to a daily low of 1.1772. However, with the greenback struggling to preserve its strength, EUR/USD erased its losses and turned flat on the day at 1.1830.
