Demo vs Real

Demo account is the best place to check your strategy and it is must to back test your strategy in demo account first before you trade in real account.Also treat demo account as real and then practice as you will get same results in real account then.

Yes this is the great lackness in newbie traders that they simple play in demo account with entering and exiting after profits with out any strategy. As they choose big capitals in demo so its easy to keep you positions open even if price go against you much, but this should be avoided in order to learn something from demo account.

i agree with you that there is big difference of demo and real trading account..but in my own view demo has its own value..
we can learn many thing there...with any depression & tension..we first check our strategy there then we apply in real account....in my view demo trading is must.

now a days it's very rare for me to use a demo account for trading , i use it only for testing my new strategies and the EA's i get .
however every newbie shall make a good use of it and learn a good concept about how will the platform will be in trading and so , the trading experience shall be got from the real account it self because of the so said psychology .

agree with you, i used demo account just for the first time i learn forex, maybe per day only take 15 minutes at demo account for some trade...and then i opened real account with micro and cent accounts, cause i knew with this i can reduce my risk and because i still hot and hot newbie...hehehe...i got difference feeling between demo and real...and you are right, we will think twice for open position

right, i think that is influenced of psychology on yourself. when you are in the demo you cant feel that and you can easily to make open position, while in the real account we well twice for open position. iam also felt that. if we have a good psychology and always train also in the demo we will habit to easily make open position as in the demo account.

Demo account should be used to know the trading terminal operation and other basic learning of the Forex trading. The real learning of Forex takes place in real account only.

of course, we must learn in demo with seriously. i think forex trading is need seriously to learn because this is a business that have a big risk. many trader only see on the advantage of forex without thinking abvot risky. so they underestimate for learn something

demo account is the first step we need to do before opening a real account ... like a baby, we learn to crawl first and then be able to walk ... to achieve the success of all there are steps that need to be passed ...

I tried playing demo only 1 or 2 times, coz i am personally think that somehow we will never play seriously and fully using demo. its like nothing to lose when you open a position, and thats i think cant be counted as trading, but if you play with real account, somehow you will need to think twice before you open a position.

As most of the traders do not take demo account seriously and have no emotions so they perform well in demo account but when real money is involved the results are just opposite.So traders must take demo account seriously.
