demo trading is the first step for beginner. demo trading is the best place to learn and practice. beginner should use demo trading to gain experience, knowledge and increasing trading skill. don't invest big money in real account without practice on demo trading at first. beginner should spend time at least 3 months in demo account for practice. demo trading can give more knowledge and trading experience

I would prefer both. In Demo you get the knowledge of working how the system treats you. You can try to make your strategies by using different techniques. You day by day increase your knowledge of Trading. As compare to Real Forex Trading instead of Demo Trading, you have to be cautious in playing your strategies. You have to control your emotions. You should not be thinking over and over again. If you think your strategy is good then you will surely have good skills. You will really earn more.
I'll choose Real Forex Trading because that's more understanding.

I'm very new to forex, been trading on a demo account from various brokers for 2 weeks. I'm very consistently making profit, so I'd like to start doing real trades. I've been practicing mostly with an Alpari demo account, and intend to register a real account there once ready. My trades go over a period of 10-15 minutes usually. The problem I'm having here is that it just doesn't make sense that you make such easy profit with so little experience, there has to be something I'm overlooking. The question I'd like to ask is: what is going to be difference between demo account and real trading ? The only thing I'm aware of is higher spreads during news (I don't think this reflects on demo accounts with Alpari). Any tips are welcome.
