This is the difference between demo and real accounts. in the demo account, you will not feel anything, whether it be profit or loss. after you enter the real account, everything will change. profit which was originally easily obtained, it is very hard you can get. right, you should always keep emotions.

yeah...i also agree with u...firstly i traded with demo ..but after making real account i feel the difference between them..and that is real money and virtual money..we can learn from real more than from demo...

yeah ..u r right...demo is for basic knowledge..if we are already got the knowledge of trading ..then we should try cents account..as it involves less risk so newbies can gain more experience in less time..comparing to demo practice

demo has one purpose..that is learning...any trader who are new to trading can use demo for basic knowledge but he cant gain experience ...experience is only gained in real account..so demo is for learning purpose while real is for getting more and more experience

Among the many use of demo account, one thing that should come to mind is that demo account can be used for backtest of strategy too. Can use demo account to also trade in weekend even though movement is small. With demo account trade in weekend, can find out how price move and take direction for new week. This can help trader to decide whether to leave live trade over weekend or not.

When you make a new strategy test it on demo for some time and than use it on live account because if there are some drawbacks of that strategy than you can modify it.

demo accounts are a great help beginners to learn the various strategies and can help to create a strategy. there is no time limit for beginners to learn with a demo account. but in my opinion before they can understand very well the strategies they learned, they still have to keep learning in a demo account. no matter how long.

emotions difference between demo and real account ... you lose no thing in demo account ... but you can lose of course in real account .... and demo account you can learn and test various strategy in order to get good knowledge and experience

When we are practicing the demo accounts ,one have to sure that they shouldn't be casual and should trade seriously .Demo accounts are mainly made because for the back tests and comparative strategy and plans work out.Suppose in demo accounts,high amount of virtual money is there but the traders should trade in the same investment capital and lot size so,that when they are trading in the real account,they gets the best result.

Yes it is true that demo account does not teach us how to manage loesses because in demo account we do not care when we lose money and no emotions of anxiety erupts in our mind. So there is a difference between demo and real account.
