This is because in the demo as virtual money, our seriousness is very less and we are not tense and emotion even if trade suffers floating losses and most of us make the mistake of trading in demos with large amounts. I would advise all you have to trade in a demo as if your trading on your real account, as well as having your demo account balance arranged according to the size of your actual account that will help in many ways and demo trading is also one of the important things here, we can not learn about the emotions on this account, but we can learn a lot here, all the things we need to make learning in forex is really a lot on the demo

i think the main reason is much explained in some of the above posts . it's the emotions and other felling coming on real account than trading on demo .
when i was a beginner in forex everybody suggested me to do demo trade for even up to 5 months or so . but it was too long for me. but nowadays it's said that rather than studying on a demo account use a cent account and invest a little money , and learn from it . they says that it helps to practice our emotions and feelings also with the learning process . so i have been recommending every one to do this

when the traders join this business they need good experience of trading , they have to make their experience well , and they should get the good skills of trading so they open the demo account and they practice in the demo account for some days without getting any loss , but in the real account if they open any trade then profit and loss are real .

demo account mien hamen bilkul kisi kisam ka koi dar nahi hota.kiunke is mien hamen apni capital nahi lagani parhti.bus hm demo account ko ak learning account ki trah use krte hain es main etna risk nahi hota.jahan tak real account ki bat ki jay real account tu pura he hi risky.Sara risk py depend karta hain es leye log high risk lety hain or har jaty hain.

Bhai agar jo emotinal ho jaate hai to tab trading mein hum logo ko kamane ko mil nahi sakta hai, yaha par acha rahta hai ki apne emotional ko control kare agar jo badiya trading hum log karna chahte hai to bhai.

yes you are right some persons are earned many from this forum in demo account and when they open a live trading account they makes many mistakes in his trading period and they confused to open a trade,only those traders earn from here whose are hard workers.

G asa he hota hai. Mery khyal say es ki main waja k hum emotional ho kr trade krtay hsi. Jis ki waja say hum forex market mai profit earn nahi kr sakty, aur humrsy loss regular hotay hai
