Trading demos are very important for beginners. There is no risk. But you can trade like real. It really functions like real. No problem. But you cannot withdraw profits. A demo account is a live simulation. So it mimics live prices very closely. They do have a slight difference at some points in price as well.

You will see this when you open a live account as the data for each account type is saved separately.

So on a demo you trade with fake money and a live account with real funds.

So what's the use of a demo account good for?

It's best to start of with a demo account if you are just wetting your feet.

This is where I encourage clients to make as much mistakes as they can to get a feel for the market and understand the potential risks involved as it's a risk free environment.

demo accounts are the opportunity provided by different brokers for practice and get more and more experience before trading on real accounts. but it happens some time that when you practice on demo accounts you make very good trades but when you start trading on real account you can not make good trades and loose your money. the reason is just fear of loosing money.

No feelings, no attachments, money management is always a must. The lack of feelings makes all the difference in the world to me.
