Well i can't say the exact amount which i had lost while doing forex trading i can say approximately i had lost 1000$ or more as i am doing forex trading since 1.5 years . And not only loss , I already earn a good amount of profit . And i can say that i already covered my all losses and now i am earning good amount of profit here . I just love forex trading . true indeed, loosing money in forex is a common thing, it's not something you can avoid forever. As my self, totally i've been lost almost 1.500$ for the last 2 years. but still i will not give up from this business, i believe one day i would bring back my money including it's interest, lol.

i have lost about 500 dollars at starting, but at that time, i was trading without any knowledge and strategy and all the time, i just over trade and suffer alot of losses....so it happens....but i just considered those lost money as my fee for learning forex trading and now i have improved in forex trading and making a good profit..... Well even i don't know how much i lost my dollars while doing forex trading ibut i am sure that it may be more than 1000$ but i am not upset that i had lost my funds because in that period when i suffered a loss i have earned a good experience which become helpful to me while taking correct decision in forex trading . But after suffering from a loss now i am become a good forex trader and i have just covered my all losses . Really the forex trading is the only place where if you suffer a loss you can cover from here only by doing trading.

i have lost about 100$ in very first day of my trading . then for a week , i never traded . then i reinvested 100$ more dollar , and i surprised from me that i made 10$ profit that day. til now i had lost about 500$ from my account and gained about 700$. so , there is some profits , that made me filled with more courage and energy that i don't fear about losses. now i uses stop loss.

I am not complete and there is lot to learn, today itself when i was little careless after opening long positions and when checked back my account balance was lost, there were two mistakes i learnt on my side, not setting stop loss and not concentrating on market while my positions were open. Till today I have lost almost $400 but I am not sad on this loss because this loss had given me the lesson of earning profit. After losing this amount I have learned the actual trading. After losing this amount I have earned almost $340 so my net loss is $60 now. I am so hopeful that one day I will be in net profit.

Ha! When i listen to this question, i go into some kind of depression. I have been trading since 2 years and i have lost over $ 1800. From $ 1800, my investment was $ 700 and the rest were the profits i lost. Only after losing so much, i have learned something known as 'Account Management', because i can't afford to lose my capital now. Cheers! Definitely you are correct friend . i always thinks forum posting money is mine and never think its bonus money and there is no difference this money and my own money while trading . because its such a great opportunity of capital and there is no any hidden term and condition . its in one word great.

Proper money management and risk management will only limit our loss but if there is some errors in your strategy or you are becoming victim to emotional trading, you have to rectify those things.
