The pair continues to trade bullish for a week and jumped more than 500 points on the strong sterling pound.
The British pound showed a massive rebound of more than 150 points against the dollar, on the sale of the dollar on a large scale. The currency pair reached its highest level in two months due to declining demand for safe assets and any breach above 109.38 confirms more upside. The daily chart shows that the pair is trading above the 200-day moving average (137.40). The short term resistance is around 138.50, and any breakout above will take the pair to the next level up to 139.25 / 140. On the downside, there is strong support at 137.20, and the breach below will take the pair to 136.10 / 135.75. Good to buy on dips around 138.20-25 with sl loss limit around 137.20 for profit limit tp 140.
