The pound against the yen resumed an uptrend since early July with rising lows and highs and breaking through a horizontal resistance corresponding to the latest high at 136.62 and a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement. The pair is attacking the 200-day moving average (daily chart) today in an attempt to reach the second quarter high at 139.15. As long as the bullish slant is not broken this positive scenario should be retained. The 20-day moving average turns bullish again.
A break of the slant would be a trigger for a return to horizontal support at 134.
