As you see in my following attached chart, and as we mentioned in our last update for gold, the price suffered sharp losses, settling now above 1550.00, being under negative pressure coming from EMA50, while stochastic provides positive signs on the daily timeframe.

INTRADAY CHART 9th April : Obviously I didn't have the expanded flat in mind. However, now that this appears to be the case we have a much easier prospect for a target high where the downtrend should resume and quite a downtrend is implied... For now we should see Wave iii high extend to either the 323.6% or 361.8% projection between 1,603.25 -1,609.60. Expect a pullback of around 41.4% followed by a move up to the 1,625.71 area where Wave (b) will have retraced by 50%
