Gold is getting resistance whenever trying to cross 1670 and so it would be wise to trade the range sell 1665 and buy around 1640, gold has been in this range on last several trading days except the recent low it made on 1627, i would expect gold to remian in 1640-1665 range next week too.
It was a good recovery from 1627 to 1690 but now it is again in corrections and trading little above 1670, hopefully it does not go below 1670 this time and if this support work we can expect gold to cross 1700 soon.
