As i told in my last post we are in three wave correction abc and current decline from 1321 can be termed as wave 1 of 5 and wave 2 can be allowedto retrace 100% of wave 1 at 1321 but a break above 1322 will confirmed the correction towards 1339 but it is not recommended I would be watching a break below 1265 for a continuation towards 1180 and break there will be certainly very powerful but you can take a short at the break of 1265 support crucial also 1276

Gold trading above $1280 level ahead of Bernanke testimony

In Short Perspective, $1277 & $1273 is a key supports.
Breakup will give $1253 & $1244

While for Upward; Breakup of $1295 is a key resistance.
Breakup will give $1308 - $1312 & $1325 in extension

Gold prices eased today but remained near a three-week high ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke�s congressional testimony before the House Financial Services Committee later in the day, for more clarity on the central bank`s stimulus-easing plans.

The market sentiment remained subdued ahead of congressional testimony on monetary policy by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke today amid increasing bets that if the U.S. economic recovery kept proving less robust, the fed�s may take longer to throttle back it Quantitative Easing program (QE).

Bernanke will testify before on the House side Wednesday and then on the Senate side Thursday. The remarks come on the heels of the surprising minutes of the last meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee, which showed a more sharply divided Fed on the issue of asset purchase timing.

The testimony could further clarify where the Fed stands on its expected path for asset purchases. The Federal Reserve will also release its Beige Book report on the economy later in the day.
