(Kitco News) - An initial coronavirus threat during the world’s largest mining conference has been defused, but the more than 23,000 attendees are still not out of the woods just yet.
Thursday, organizers of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2020 mining conference said that according to Ontario health officials, the man who attended the conference and was then diagnosed with COVID19 was not infectious during the conference.
However, PDAC officials are still asking everyone who attended the conference last week to continue to monitor their health for signs of the virus.
