USD index is approaching its resistance at 7.055(61.8% Fibonacci extension, horizontal swing high resistance) where it is expected to reverse down to its support at 7.006(61.8% Fibonacci extension, horizontal swing low support, 61.8% Fibonacci retracement). Stochastic (89, 5, 3) is approaching its resistance at 96% where a corresponding reversal is expected.

The major tendency is still descending, that’s why this growth may be considered as a correction, which may be followed by a new wave to the downside. So, in this case, the main scenario implies that the pair may rebound from the 3/8 level and start a new decline to reach the support at the 1/8 one. However, this scenario will no longer be valid if the instrument breaks the 3/8 level. After that, the pair may resume trading upwards with the target at the 5/8 level.
