the greenback ended the session on Monday with gains of 0.72%, versus the yen,
bouncing back from the session lows of about a percent. the pair bounced back from
crucial supports at 96.00- 96.10, closed below which the losses could have extended to
95.00 yen. break of 97.00, the gains could extend to 97.60- 98.00, where the near term
upside could be capped. Only a close above, the pair would rally to 99.75- 100.00

TRADING RECOMMENDATIONS

SHORT:
At 98.00 with a stop at 98.40 for a profit target of 97.20

LONG:
At 96.00 with a stop at 95.50 for a profit target of 97.00

As you see in my following attached chart, the pair traded between a high of 96.93 and a low of 95.92 closed at 96.89. Today the pair trades below the resistance line of 97.75.
Downside Scenario: USDJPY could decline into the levels of 97.00, then 96.60, if the resistance line of 97.75 holds.
Upside Scenario: upside penetration of the resistance line of 97.75, could help the pair to see the levels of 98.10, then 98.90
