yes this is a breakthrough for the Japanese currency, there seems to be a consolidation above 78.70 ... and it should be ... but then rise against the Bears ... so with such aggressiveness I am not sure that the 78.00 level will maintain the pair's level ... so that the downtrend can be extended on the daily chart ... and USD / JPY consolidation below 79.65 while temporarily continues and intraday bias remains neutral. Weakness of retreat is expected to be contained above 78.78 minor support and bring another rise. A fall from 80.61 finishes at 77.90 and above 78.65 will target the resistance zone 79.96 / 80.61. Note that current developments do not guarantee that cases falling from 84.17 have been reversed. And therefore, we will be careful of the signal topping around 80.61.

As shown on the H4 chart, the pair became close to the indicated bullish trend and so I think it will be an opportunity to start buying near this trend by stopping to lose a few pips below it, I think also if the pair can break this trend it will expected to continue to be bearish until it reaches the first support level @ 61.8% Fibonacci, and the pair continues to develop northern signals proposing the Ichimoku price even managed to break through the Ichimoku cloud base, after correction to the south, maybe north of the movement is restored.
