its a very good thread and the answer of this question will help a lot of traders so the actual reason according to my thinking is the lack of experience and trading skills these two are the basic reasons by which traders lost there money and investment sometimes greed also become a reason of lost so work hard and hope for the best

My opinion is many of new trader think and take Forex as a Money making machine. That case they think when up sell and when down buy. But they don't analysis and try to learn Forex huge. They want take huge money easily that case they fail i think.

if we continue to think could quickly become rich in this business, then it can be hard to make us able to control ourselves to keep discipline in trading. we must be patient to get rich from this business, and all it requires a process that has a different time between one trader to another.

in my opinion, i think the reason of losing money is the lack of knowledge and experience about forex.another reason of losing money is greatness and fear which is very harmful in trading.

yes the points you mentioned are the main reasons for losing percentage in forex. and from those 95% many are new traders who are not upto the market.
