Yes i think through experience you can become a successful trader. When you trade in the market for some times you get the an clear picture of the market behavior. you will able identify market patterns and seasonal trends,etc More and more you are getting familiar about a currency you will able to identify the behavior about the currency. I think it is better you stick to one pair for some time and experience the behavior of that pair.
