i think a trader should use a reasonable lot size, dont use a bigger lot if our balance is small.
for me i just make target 1% from capital per day. ex : i have $100 so i trade 0.1 lot and the target its only 10 pips.
i think 0.1 from $100 is good lot size.

well dont put too much at risk..being agressive is one thing and then there is being stupid.. risk 2% of ur account at every trade. like if you have 250$ account den dont risk more than 50$..okay?

Yes i agree with you. It's more safer to use small lot size for low account size. If my account size is 100$ then i must not use the lot size bigger then .10. Because it will increase the risk to loss more when we loss in a specific trade. I will do trade with lot size 1 only when i made 2000$ in my account.Originally Posted by nobby

I suggest to only risking a maximum of 2% of the capital ....
example: capital = 10000 dollar
lots per trade = 10000/10000 = 1 lot
stop losses up to 2% of capital = $ 200
