I think there is no specific answer of your question as it is not a fix profit business or not as a service that gives you a fixed amount of money after the end of the month...
If you use bigger lot size that can make your money double in a very short period but it has bigger risks to make your capitals vanished very quickly...

i think it about your lot size and the leverage you are using in the transaction so if you are using big lot size the you will require small number of pips to make your money double account, but if you small lot size you need require large number of pips to double account.

i think that the rule is not how many pips does it take to double our money but the problem is your capital and the lot that you use to open orders, but i'm sure that the object of professional traders is dble the capital every 2 months but don't forget that money management is all

The lot does the matter. If you invest $500 and bought a lots for the same $500 and your profit is 100 percentage then it makes your money the double simple as a 1st standard calculation.
