I don't think that 500 pips per day will not be very hard task for the experienced traders as a simple trader like me made over 70 pips in a single trade ,when the trading market is in good momentum and thus i feel its not a big deal to attain any kind of target but those should be fixed according to our capability.

i usually make 20 - 50 pips per day but sometimes i got higher till 100 pips or more when the news was released ..but it is so hard to get moment like this and need good patience to wait till we know when and where we put the order at the right track

I do not think that it is practical to targets so many pips in one day unless we are trading in Multiple pairs and the targets is based on some 10 currency pairs with 50 pips in each. over 500 pips is very possible! i made a profit many time over 500 pips a day... it was a good day... with 5 pairs, every pair had 100 pips profit average... look for a good news and find a good reversal, then you should go for a long term trade...best of luck
