During the time when you are in losses it is the worst time to trade due to lack of funds and confidence but otherwise also the worst time to trade is when the markets are closed or during Holiday season.

whenever there is less movement in the market then it is the worst time to trade because your broker is infront of you and as he is very experience so he will not give you any money easily so you should try much hard to get your profit at this moment and maximum chances that your money will be lost.

In forex trading ... there are periods in which you can trade to make profit and periods in which you can incur losses ... therefore, worst period to trade is during festival period due to the fact that at that period, people will be going on christmas holidays so they will not have time to be there to analyse the market ... Banks usually close during the period for few days ... During this period, there is less price flunctuations which will not yield much profit ... in short on the major festivals people choose the withdraw the capital and the overall market growth is very slow.

i disagree with you becaus every period you can make money. Its as well as effective to trade behind christmas or other holidays. The only thing is to chnage the tradingstyle you have. if you are using trendtrading in the other time now you must trade like a scalper because the currency pairs are in range or you use a range trading strategy that works for you. The different is: you must only look twice or three times a day at your account.

But should i loose 20% if i trade not at or behind some holidays?

There is no any time worse while trading. It is our placement of the position which may worse. But one time that is friday closing and monday opening, i think this is the worst time in the forex market. Actually it is not trading time but it is applied for the position which have opened on friday.
