Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is a city park located on the north bank of the Liffey River, about 2 Km west of downtown Dublin. This 707-hectare park was first built in 1662. Around the park is surrounded by a wall along 11 Km. With the wall, Phoenix Park is one of the largest city parks in the world surrounded by walls.
This park area is dominated by green grass with several footpaths. Since the 17th century, this park has been home to several deer herds. In this park there are also several monuments such as the Phoenix Column and Wellington Monument. Other tourist attractions in this park complex include Dublin Zoo, Aras an Uachtarain, Deerfield Redidence, People's Garden and Magazine Fort. This tourist spot is open every day for 24 hours.

Dublin Castle is a castle located on Dame Street, Dublin. The 9 meter high castle is more than 800 years old. The castle was built on an area of 4.4 hectares in 1204. However, the castle buildings that still exist today are mostly only built in the 18th century. This castle was first used by King John, the leader of Ireland in the 12th century. In 1922, when Ireland separated from Great Britain, the castle was later managed by the Irish government. Some of the major parts of the castle include St Patrick's Hall, Throne Room, State Drawing Room, State Dining Room, State Bedrooms and State Corridor. This tourist spot can be visited every day from 10am to 4pm.
