Mark van Bommel, former Dutch national team midfielder, reportedly entered the list of replacement candidates Sebastian Hoeness as coach of Bayern Munich II. The former Bayern Munich captain has indeed been unemployed since being kicked out by PSV Eindhoven in mid-December 2019.
As reported by Sport1, Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic and Junior Team Manager Jochen Sauer are currently looking for a new coach figure for Bayern Munich II. There are several names to consider. One of them is Mark van Bommel. In addition, there are also Mehmet Scholl, Miroslav Klose, Holger Seitz, and Tobias Schweinsteiger.
Van Bommel is rumored to be a strong candidate. Because, Scholl is no longer interested in returning to train Bayern Munich II. Meanwhile, Klose has only been promoted to be Hansi Flick's assistant coach per season next. As for Schweinsteiger, who just left Hamburger SV, claimed he had not been contacted by Die Roten's management.
