USD/SGD SGD lost over 4% vs. USD this year, before rebounding. The move saw the currency fall from around 1.56% above the mid-point of the SGD NEER band to around -0.47% below the mid-point, a precipitous drop. Analysts at TD Securities recommend a trade position on the USD/SGD.

24 karat gold decreased by Rs 1000 per tola on Saturday and was traded at Rs 94,500 as compared to Rs 95,500 of last trading day, Karachi Sarafa Association reported. Likewise, the price of 10 gram gold witnessed decrease of Rs 858 and was traded at Rs 81,018 as compared to Rs81,876 during last trading day. The price of silver remained stable and was traded at Rs 1000 per tola and that of 10 gram silver was traded at Rs 857.33. In international market, the price of per ounce gold depreciated by $11 and was traded at $ 1675 against $1686, Karachi Sarafa association reported.

Taunted by his girlfriend on Valentine's Day for not having a bike, a 20-year-old youth decided to have not one but several ones, allegedly by stealing them, and has landed into police net, officials said on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said Lalit Kumar, a resident of Bhagwati Vihar, has been arrested for stealing several two-wheelers. Kumar was arrested along with his friend Saheed, 22, a Bindapur resident, said the DCP, adding the police team also recovered four motorcycles and five scooters from their possession.

"Police arrested the two accused around 6.30pm on Friday from near a fish market in Matiyala when they were found riding a bike without number plate," said Alphonse.
