The first area of short term resistance is observed at 0.9858, followed by 0.9935 and 1.0130. The first area of support is at 0.9663, with the subsequent supports at 0.9545 and 0.9350.

In Canada, Statistics Canada published Building Permits numbers for the month of June that rose 2.1%, beating expectations of a decline of 4.7%. Earlier, the office released employment information for the month of July

as we can see from the chart has success in breaking the level of 0.9800 and now the pair is trading under it , that's mean the down trend is standing and the pair might head to 0.9730 then 0.9700 ,

USD/CAD pair erased some of its losses after the ISM services index was released, where the ISM services index showed activities eased in July to 52.7 below expectations of 53.5, which spread further concerns over the outlook of the U.S. economy, especially as the ISM manufacturing index for the same month also showed easing activities in July.

i think traders on this pair can go long positions above 0.9715 level with targets at 0.9815 and 0.985 in extension.

and if the price go below 0.9715 level look for more downside with 0.9685 and 0.965 as targets.

yes they constantly touch 0.9770 level(on my chart they even touch the 0.9975), it seems they clearly break the first resistance, an important level will be at 0.9820 fir a further bullish
