My strategy on this day on October 17, 2013 by using the time clock market opening at 07:10
I am guided by indicators Stochasis (5,3,3) which break low and fibbo indicator trend up and assuming that there are several possible markets trend is trend up then I will use the trapping strategy with market position SELL with TP=1.0048 and SL=1.0108 but you can add other indicators to success this strategies.

My preferance for USD/CAD is to sell from 1.0332 and to stop loss at 1.0382,
first take profit is at 1.0282 and second at 1.0232.
