A Review On The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid is an American fantasy drama film based on the novel of the same title written by Hans Christian Andersen. The film, which is a Netflix original film, was directed and written by Blake Harris. The Little Mermaid stars Willian Moseley, Loreto Peralta Instruction Not Included / No Se Aceptan Devoluciones (2013), Poppy Drayton, Armanda Guiterrez, and several other supporting players. The film was released in the United States on August 17, 2018.
This one hour and twenty-five minute film tells the story of an uncle, Cam Horrison (William Moseley), and a young nephew, Elle (Loreto Peralta), who must travel for a week to Mississippi to find a place where Healing Water is located. or healing water to treat Elle who had an illness. That place is in a circus place and is owned by someone named Dr. Locke (Armando Guiterrez). Cam is a young reporter who doesn't believe in mermaids. He believes that a mermaid is just a fairy tale. Even when he and Elle came to Dr. Locke, who showed a mermaid in a large glass tank, said that it was a cheap trick to trick the audience. Unlike Cam, Elle immediately believes that mermaids are real and not a trick.
While Cam and Elle are taking a walk around the forest near where they are staying, they meet a beautiful human mermaid named Elizabeth (Poppy Drayton). In a full robe with a head covering, Elizabeth hurriedly walked away when Cam asked her a few things. As a reporter, Cam looks for interesting stories to tell. As originally intended, he came to see Dr. Locke to ask about the Healing Water and grazed the mermaid he showed off in his show. Instead of getting an answer, Dr. Locke actually looks very objectionable and rejects the question about mermaids. Cam suspected that something was hidden from Dr. Locke and about Elizabeth. Secretly he finds out when the circus closes and finally finds out that Elizabeth the mermaid has been a prisoner for life that is used by Dr. Locke for his circus show.
The storyline of The Little Mermaid back and forth. The film's story has the concept of a grandmother with her two grandchildren. Seeing the title, this film looks like a Disney film. But with a light and simple story, this film is not at all like a Disney movie. However, there are very few parts that are similar to typical Disney films. The film The Little Mermaid is a film that can be watched by all ages or for those who like fantasy drama films with light stories.
One simple line that is said by Cam Harriosn at the end of the story: "All that matters is what you do."
