I just wonder to know which Platform are you using now?Which one do you think will be the most popular ,MT4 or MT5?Compared to MT5,what is the advantage of MT4?

Comparison to MT5, MT4 is best because it has more Indicators, EA to use and MT4 is simple to use you can back test every strategies and EA you make and simply handle all trades, orders and Pending Order.
Yes I have the same opinion about mt4. Cause from the beginning I am using mt4 and I can not become familier with the mt5 platform again it will take time to become familier with mt5. And I like mt4.Quote:

But mt4 get very popular among the merchant
New technology always come with something new and would therefore be more preferable. But with mt5 this has not been the case. Even at this point I would still prefer mt4 than mt5 even for one reason. And that is mt5 does not allow hedging.
just i know that mt4 is better to me and i use mt4 more that time so i mean that treading to mt4 easy for me from mt5 now that time..................
of course there is a slight change of MT4 MT5 ka but I guess it does not really affect me personally, I therefore advise you as soon as possible to learn to use the MT5 so next time you are not confused when MT4 is not used anymore,
for newbie, are there any difficult from MT5 that require you to learn MT4 first? In other word, Does MT5 has some function that made short from MT4 and to use it, you should learn MT4 to understand?
MT4 is what many traders know about and understand. I have downloaded the MT5 platform and even registered for demo account on it but I cannot really see much difference. I think there are more indicators and a somehow different design but not more than that really. Maybe when I get to start using it I will see the difference.Quote:

Like MT5 supports 3hr chart. I suggest you to try demo both MT4 and MT5 so you will find which one is useful for you

MT4 are older technology than MT5 but this meta trader version have more indicator than MT5.beside that in MT4 a trading strategy like hedging are allowed then like in MT5 that hedging trading strategy are not allowed.
I think mt5 have all that my friend, concerning the indicator.. mt4 is an previous platform numerous programmer is developed ea and indicator for it. Mt5 continues to be underneath development therefore not strange if the indicator still underneath development too. i'm positive if the mt5 is launch for general use, are going to be heap of indicator we will realize in web for mt5 platform.

Well I am using MT4 program rather than MT5 for my trade in Forex.
According to my opinion and experience, MT4 program is more popular than MT5 because it has been used for many years by many people and got good reviews by many successful traders.
The advantages of MT4 Interface Program over MT5 Interface program in Forex:-
1. It is absolutely free and easy to install in the pc.
2. It is user friendly and you can test many strategies and techniques that you use during trade to check if you earn any profits.
3. It is easy for a forex trader to handle all the orders, trades, problems during trading, plans, products etc.
4. It has indicators that allow you to understand that you have got good profit with that strategies during trading.
Campared with MT5 platform,I still enjoy MT4 platform during I trade in forex so much.So I do not think MT5 will be more popular than MT4.Because most traders will benefit of MT4 platform so much there.You see,we can draw the trend line as we wish on our MT4 platform.They can trade with the indicator that they love so much.So I think MT4 will be the most popular one.
I don't think that MT5, being an upgraded version, has any disadvantages over its lower version which is MT4. Almost all the flexibilities of MT4 is incorporated in MT5. Additionally, MT5 is more stable, offers more flexibility in programming, provides much more options on chart time frames and so on.

MT4 more simple and very easy to use so that we would be comfortable in any trade in which we do later, only in this way we are able to trade properly, as far as I know if we trade with are not comfortable then the result will also be bad
