High leverage will always eat your balance. It should be used when you are confirm about the trend. I think it will be difficult to predict trend in forex. With high leverage you should not trade in the volatile period it will hit your margin call immediately. Now you can pick from this facts and decide whether to use or not.
leverage is main and impotent is every Forex trader because you choose you leverage by your account amount . I think 1:200 is right for small account and 1:400 is big account. you take risk more in your big account.
High leverage is not bad if we don't misuse it. By misusing it I mean if we don't open big lot size and if we don't over trade then high leverage is quite beneficial. With high leverage we can open the same position with the less margin.
I agree with you nikhil_rrane. High leverage will always lead us to early margin call if the trade is going down for us. High leverage helps us to make quick money too but if we want to survive in the market for long period, we need to start trading with small leverage first. It will be best to hang on to the market as long as possible without getting margin call soon.Quote:

I think using leverage with 1:200 is quite low you must remain in between the two extremes. I am using the leverage of 1:600 which is good I think and it is causing no difficulty for me.Quote:

Even, myself following and playing with small leverages because myself consider me as a beginner.
forex is risky because of the leverage factor. so if a trader is using high leverage then obviously he is taking a big risk. though it may bring good profits within a short period it has the same potential to bring a big loss.
And a trader does well in forex if he minimises the risks, thats a well known fact, so taking high risk is not beneficial to good trading

High leverages means high risk that will leads to quick n huge profit and if it will not comes out your way then it will leads to quick loss.
yeah, mein tumhse puri tarah agree hoon high leverages jada tar margin call deti hai jisse aapke account balance zero ho jata hai, mein suggest karunga small leverage or lot size se forex market mein khele woh jada safe hai.Quote:

yes I agree with that as I always set as high leverage I can set. because I just want to avoid quick margin call and want to stay in the market for longer and does not matter at the end if I eventually get margin call then i may not have left for future but yes there can be advantages as well as disadvantages of high leverage. I am happy with high leverage.

i dont know why you people say high leverage will eat your balance,its dangerous ,its not advisable for newbies etc.Please people understand that high leverage is completely harmless unless you misuse it.If you open a big lot with small capital then its harmful.So its traders who make it harmful.Or else its harmful and its beneficial as it gives more free margin.Quote:

Yes, sure it is reliable. You will be able to manage more positions if you choose high leverage. High leverage is the good benefit of forex trade. We must utilize it. The only drawback that we will face is that we will have to suffer quick margin calls during the trade.Quote:

High leverage provides quick returns on small capital, so its good for traders with small capital. I wouldn't suggest trading on high leverage such as 1:1000, i find 1:500 a good leverage.

low leverege is essential for earn profit continiously in forex ,putting high levereage means oneday your intial deposit is zero
