this depends with you trading capital. but for me i prefer to use 0.50 to 1.00 size lot in my standard account the reason is that most of the time i trade using scalping. if you are a newbie don't go big i mean don't start with a big size lot use 0.01 to 0.05

Brother when we lost our capital in the trading at that time it is wise to open order with the lost size is 0.01$ with the help of fundamental and technical analysis. With the technical analysis we can know about the resistance & support label. actually lot totally depand on you invested amount , i invested $500 so 1:20 is the best lot for me and reasonable it not too high not too low , in trading market you have to play like then less in put more output

My friend I think as a beginner at forex trading we need to use low lot size and if we can handle low lot size and generate continuous profit then we can increase the lot size and can make money from forex trading.
