if you decide to join a forum like this, it's already a good start because here is a gathering place for the master who will share his experience. and if to avoid greater losses, you should always put the SL for every trade you make.
I think it would be knowledge you gain about forex and the experience you gain for trading that will help you to have a sound grip on trading forex, following pre-defined rules, risk management and a good strategy will be pre-requisite.
Learning is very important for forex trader. If trader know about forex very well and know what is market move then forex market is very good market for trader. But without knowledge it is very risky so trader should learn first then start trading.
I strongly agree that your opinion is if we are to succeed in the forex business then we must learn and practice diligently. we must also learn the best strategies of the seniors so that we can apply the best strategy in the forex business.
