I don't use the moving average indicator and I just found out now this thread that moving average indicator is use for determining the support and resistance levels. I use the pivot point for determining the support and resistance level on a daily and weekly chart.Quote:

if an indicator will be used by much traders it means they will work better.what moves the price is the decision of the traders.so if the majority of the traders will act based on the signals from moving averages then they will work.based on my own experience moving averages works well with big time frames like 1 hour 4 h and 1 day.with lower time frames they can generate wrong signals since the signals speed is very slow.
Moving average is very good indicator. It give diagonal support and resistance as we know. The bigger your moving period, the strong your support and resistance level.
yes this is one of the best indicators & best in the world of forex trading markets and many experts people can use it but if you want to get good profits with it you need to use mix with another good indicators .Quote:

Each frame is fit with the frame numbers are different from each other .. and of course the higher the frame used by the moving average was Aaadadata bigger deal the more strength and confidence in the success but requires patience on the large frame and the best moving average is 55 and 200 from my point of view
