Yes, i agree with you learn forex trading is most important for a newbie because without learning you will not able to trade so should learn at first, i think forex related book and fundamental analysis is best to learn about forex trading and you have more experience, i believe that experience is most important for a new trader.
i too can say that if any body want to learn about the forex market then it is better to do the trade in this market because this market will give the money if we will learn about it well and if we will place the good trades in the market then we will be more happy from the market.
my fried what you are talking about is called empirical analysis and i am agree with you very much yes the best way to learn Forex trading is to trade in a real account but do not forget to trade in a demo account for at-least three months there you will be able to build your own trade strategy.
