I am also an avid day trader. The pitfall with day trading is the adrenaline rush you get when you are correct. Most day traders want ACTION.
Time is money so ACTION becomes the name of the game.
However, after doing post trade analysis on literally thousands and thousands of trades I have discovered that I needed to be more disciplined and eliminate at least 70% of my trades. Trading costs and slippage literally will eat away at your equity.
I have learned over the past few years to literally sit on my hands until a high probability trade presents itself. For an active trader this is a terribly difficult discipline to develop and master.
Day trading is good because it helps you get many opportunities, but first you should know how you can deal with the good and the market Thhd certain currencies pairs are working on them and focus on them until you reach the daily goal
