I think it depends upon personal depends how much you want to earn and how much experienced you and how much you are willng to risk....

I think it depends from person to person and varies with demand of the trader how much he is targeting to earn...it also depends upon experience in forex...and rish he wants to take....
I invest only $ 10 only at the beginning of my learning trading. since the beginning of trading we do not know much about forex trading strategies have not yet, not yet know the exact time of trading. invest first in the great possibility we will have a margin call

i think that starting invest for beginner so my opinion on this is the starting investment for a beginner or a newbie trader are from 10$ to 100$ . if any body is depositing 100$ and making a money management of this amount the surely you get 10$ to 15$ in each trade by using 0.01 lots only.
starting with very small capital is most recommended for for new traders because most often new traders will loss initially after starting live trades but will letter get use to the emotion of trading the market with real cash.
