short term or scalping is my best choice and profitable strategies for my trading and also i just need a short time to get profit and then take a rest and enjoy my earning ..
sometimes i ever used long term too, when the order got some floating minus and i knew that the trend will move back again

I too like short term trading and its easy for me to handle it instead of long term. Long term trading is best for those who have big capital in trading account and can earn good profit in a single long term position, i have not big capital in my account so short term trading is best for me.Quote:

sometimes it depends upon the trader and sometimes it depends upon the trade which you have opened and i must say that you must have to set your mind because sometimes some trades makes you to sit in front of your monitor for a long time.
For me also short term trading only is a dream to make quick money , but it is not working me good and not able to generate profit through this method. Hence now i am trying my luck with Long term trading since it suits my working style and timing very much.
For me as long as there good opportunity to open position, i will open one. Maybe professional trader use less their time in front of monitor, cause their wait for best time to get maximal profit.
I prefer to trade daily, where I put the take profit is relatively far away so I could get a bigger profit if my prediction is true even though the time to reach it long enough, this model of trade that I like most....
i also think like that. a long term trader need more capital than short term traders, because when we as long term trader, we need a large resilience of capital, this happen when we getting floating minus too much, so the resilience of capital is large too. the profit target and stop loss is very large, so i cant follow this strategy.
you are good trader friend, because you can do both for any strategies in there. i want to know how about your amount do you have? because i think to be long term trader we need a large capital.
i only used scalping in my strategy because i dont have enough money. the take profit target are too small and the lot size also..
