short term trading I would like to mean that you are talking about scalping and if so it will depend on your preference since you might find that some people have only a few minutes or hours to make analysis per day so they may not prefer long term trading.

Bhai short term trading ka matlab yea hota hai k aap apni trades ko longer time kay liye hold nahi kartay. Usually short term traders apni positions ko maximum 2 ya 3 days kay liye open rakhtay and mostly within a trading day hi apni positions ko close kar letay hain.Quote:

Other people are intraday traders whose trading lasts for one day i.e overnight.
and few traders are the ones who trades for minutes or may be for seconds , they are know as scalpers.
so it depends on you which type of trader you are .
Also it depends on capital.
Suppose if you have a very few capital to start then you cant expect yourself a long term trader as it negative order can result into losses.
