It is better to invest only 10$-20$ to start as a new trader with a demo account.It is not for trading but to learn about the forex market.Then when a trader get some ideas about the forex market then they should start the forex business with her equity level to trade in forex market to earn money.

For new traders, because it is still in the stage of practice, it is better to deposit small amounts first, 10-50 dollars. Keep the amount of capital that is being added to the profit every month, or at least not diminished. When it reached a consistent profit, then the trader can increase the amount of deposit.
To newbies, i think it is better if they can take trades with high volatility currency pairs. I think EUR/ USD ad GBP/ USD is good because 2 pair ussually make good signals for analysis.
i think that the investment for newbie need to be at big capital and need the right prediction of the price because the investment in forex can be loss or profit any way if trader have big capital the income from the investment will be enough but small capital just make you waiste your time.
so as not to get the huge losses in trading, so when we start to invest forex market, you should be able to use a smaller capital ..

I think it's depending on each trader's style of trading but I am agree if it's easier to gain profit with trading on pair which has good volatility because the possibility to gain profit will be higher although the possibility of loss can be higher too. It's better to learn in demo account first to find out the best timing for trading with certain pair.
I got $ 5 the first time in forex trading and has performed more than 50 trading within 2 weeks, since I only use a small lot. The result of my funds reduced, down to 3.5 $ only. I think the more appropriate practice novice trader with a small amount first before investing in bulk because it is still inexperienced.
